Problem:

Reynolds Metals Can Reclamation Centers required a rapid and economical method to sort out steel cans from the more valuable aluminum cans.

Solution:

A conveyer equipped with an Eriez Criss-Cross Magnetic Head Pulley provided the answer. The steel cans were held tightly to the head pulley and were diverted from the flow. The aluminum cans fell freely into a weigh hopper.
